Vox S.p.A. has just unveiled a major corporate rebranding and product rollout under the ‘Vox Group’ banner. The company believes the changes will more cohesively present its diverse product range and wide B2B scope across both analogue and digital platforms.
Vox has achieved tremendous business success over the last 20 years. It created the concept of tour guide audio systems in 2001, and today is global travel industry leader in both audio hardware and software solutions. Vox annually services over 8 million travellers, on 20 million audio tours, through 3,500 B2B partners.
The most significant developments at Vox lie under the hood, where the business is driving effective use of technology to better suit the personalisation aspirations of our partners’ customers when they are travelling on vacation or to venues. Vox developers in London and Rome have just released a completely revamped User Interface for its range of powerful POPGuide and Vox City smartphone applications, along with further optimisation of the software to deliver the best possible customer experience for the guests of cruise operators, museums, hotels, travel agents and MICE partners. This major update comes after a full year of UI development and two years of customer feedback.
The company is also using WTM to introduce its new B2B Vox2Go, VoxOverWiFi and Vox VDR products. Vox2Go combines long-lease smartphones with a bespoke tour and cruise interface, itineraries, destinations and navigation software, along with free calls and data; while VoxOverWifi uses special Vox software to power up visitors’ own smartphones and the guide’s smartphone as audio receivers and transmitters in museums, venues and at cultural attractions. Vox VDR is a state-of-the-art tour guide system using European built long range digital technology.
The visual changes in the Vox rebranding are striking too. The company has launched a new Vox Group global website at www.voxtours.com, and has completely overhauled its materials and logos, to present a clear and obvious connection across its businesses. It has also released new B2B collateral, including brochures, flyers, training material and videos, designed to help its partners, big and small, grow their businesses too.
